John Legend and Mariah Carey to collaborate on Christmas song

Fans of John Legend and Mariah Carey are in for a threat this Christmas as the two team up together to make some beautiful music. They will be releasing a remix of Carey’s song When Christmas Comes, which was released on her holiday album Merry Christmas II You. This album was originally produced by The Roots’ James Poyser and released in 2010. Carey and Legend have been working on their collaboration and Carey gave fans a sneak peek at the video over her Twitter feed. This features her lip-syncing to her own song, sung by Legend, that is playing from the radio of the car, as she rides through a snowy landscape.

This collaboration is sure to get fans excited about the festive period. There is nothing better than having your favourite artists coming together to make this season extra special. Many people will be waiting eagerly for this release and will be anticipating being able to listen to it while playing party poker or even decorating the tree for Christmas. With the smooth, silky voice of Legend and the power that Carey provides, this song is set to provide exciting listening, for chilled-out train journeys and energetic Christmas parties.

As well as combining her talents with John Legend, Carey is also set to release a song with Justin Bieber. This will be the traditional Christmas song, All I Want For Christmas Is You and there will also be a video to go with it. These coming new releases are promising to be very exciting and to provide us with some great listening for Christmas time. Part of the fun of the festive period is being able to enjoy songs and music that all instil a certain feeling of warmth and excitement in us.

Unfortunately the track that Eric Roberson has been working hard on and was desperately hoping would make his upcoming album “Mr. Nice Guy?” can’t be put on the album because the sample wasn’t cleared. The upbeat, perfect for summer track features Chubb Rock and samples George Benson’s well known hit “Give Me The Night”. Now for the good news…free music!! Since it won’t make the album Eric, being the “nice guy” he is decided to give the track to his fans at a five finger discount, but also to release the track well before the August release date of his 7th solo album. So glad Eric decided not to put this one in the vault (wink, wink), never to see the light of day. Although summer hasn’t officially started “SummerTime Anthem” is sure to heat things up. So take a hit and stay HIGH!!
