Yahzarah has been busy touring with the Grammy Nominated Foreign Exchange since the release of their sophomore album “Leave It All Behind” over a year ago. Nonetheless Ms. Purple St. James has still found time to work on her own solo project. Her upcoming album “The Ballad of Purple St. James” is scheduled to be released on May 14th. “Why Dontcha Call Me No More”, a funky upbeat track, is the first single off her upcoming album. I can’t wait to hear her perform this one live. I had the pleasure of seeing her in Atlanta a few months ago and trust me you don’t want to miss her if she comes to your city.
