Before I started writing this post, I had to go back and scan all our previous We miss you Wednesday posts because I couldn’t believe it had taken us, the ADDIKTS, this long to do a post about Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, 1/3 of the phenom girl group, TLC.
Unless you were totally checked out thru the nineties (and early 2000s), then you know all about the great music TLC produced, the records they set and the financial woes that at one point threatened to overshaw their careers. I remember buying Ooooooohhh… On the TLC Tip when it first came out. Man, I played that cassette over and over on my little Sony stereo.
Left Eye had some ups and had some downs. But, as the self-proclaimed “crazy” one in the group, we always knew to expect the unexpected from her. Today, we are jamming to one of my favorite TLC songs, “Waterfalls”. Left Eye, you are missed.
