Green Tea Soul, a D.C. native, was bit by the music bug at a very early age and got her start like many other artists, singing her heart out at Sunday morning service. With years of practice in front of her congregation and her strong convictions, Green Tea decided to step out on faith and pursue her passion. Out of that decision two full length albums were born, “Have a Cup of Green Tea Dosage I: Shades of Green” and “Dosage II: Choices”. Her growth and potential is more than evident on these two albums. In true artist form Green Tea decided to switch it up a little on her latest mixtape, putting her own twist on songs we all know and love. On “Beautiful Weirdo” you can expect to hear Green Tea’s zealous voice full of crazy runs over classic Outkast beats. If you enjoy Outkast and great vocals you’ll love “Beautiful Weirdo”, which is available online now at Green Tea’s bandcamp site.

Now I understand why she calls herself a beautiful weirdo. I have her first two albums and now I gotta get the mixtape.
