We had the pleasure of seeing this brother on stage with The Foreign Exchange, in New York City, a couple weeks ago. His musicianship showed throughout the performance. You could see the passion on his face as he stroked the keys. You can also see the passion and depth in the tracklisting. The songs seem carefully selected and it clearly serves as a compliment to the original material.
As connoisseurs of music, we feel obligated to pass it on. Click here for this injektion of good rhythms. Overall, this is a happy dose. Perfect to be played in the house, car, or on your morning walk. Compliments to those involved in selecting which songs to ‘cover’ on the album. The night it went live on Twitter, Nicolay remarked how glad he was that they’d backed up the servers. Translation – people were waiting on this EP and downloading it like crazy – myself included. This album features Sy Smith, Darien Brockington, Carlitta Durand, Yahzarah, and Phonte. Zo! is currently working on a full-length album, set to be released Summer 2010. The ADDIKTS will be waiting for that!
