Wow! Is all us Music ADDIKTS had to say when we found out the Kanye and Lady Gaga show was cancelled. We dropped a nice $300 on our tickets at 10 o’clock sharp yesterday (10/1) when the pre-sale started and by the end of the day the show was cancelled.
In the infamous words of one of my favorite authors, “Things Fall Apart”….
Let’s hope that next time, the show will go on. I still respect Kanye and his music and hope that we will get to see Lady Gaga sooner rather than later. She is really hot right now and her tunes are downright catchy.
So, stay tuned to musicaddikts.com. Because when we go, you go too.
If you missed our original post about the concert, keep reading…..
I know Kanye may not be everyone’s favorite person right now. But, you can’t deny the man’s talent. He is one of a kind. He rocked the world with his blockbuster album, “The College Dropout,” proving to everyone that you don’t need an education to be successful. I personally don’t agree with that, but hey – to each his own. Since then, he has kept us high with his subsequent albums, “Late Registration”, “Graduation” and “808’s and Heartbreak.” His music has taken us on a journey – a journey through his rise to stardom, the rise of his ego, the unfortunate death of his mother and everything in between and after.
So, it is with great pleasure to give you ADDIKTS the heads up. Kanye is coming to a town near you! On Friday, December 11th, Atlanta will welcome him and one of the year’s biggest breakout stars, Lady Gaga for the FAME KILLS TOUR. To be honest, I don’t know much about Lady Gaga. Clearly, I can’t read her Poker Face. I was in awe of her crazy outfits at the VMAs and I love how Kid Cudi flipped her beat for his hit song, Make Her Say. But, that’s about all I know, which is why I am really looking forward to this show.
In the meantime, keep doin’ it 4daLove and nothing else! Otherwise, it’s not worth doing.
